Joining Process

To join the waiting list for Middlesbrough Youth Theatre please register your details using the Application Form below.

Once you have submitted your form you will receive an email to acknowledge that you have full access to the portal. This is your confirmation that you are in the system and awaiting a space.

Once we have a space for you we will contact you with information about either an audition or a starting date, depending upon your age. Please do reply to this email so that we know whether to expect you!

Session Information

We have two groups, depending upon students’ ages. These are Kidstage and Mainstage. Kidstage takes students aged 7-11 and meets at 13:00-14:30. Mainstage is home to students aged 11-18 and meets at 10:30-12:30. Both sessions are on a Saturday at the Scout Hut on Tollesby Road.

Mainstage fees are currently £100 per term, with Kidstage fees at £70 per term. Terms run alongside school terms, beginning in January, after Easter, and September.
